Unit conversion
Automatic unit conversion gives shoppers two measurement options without requiring you to maintain two tables. Icona calculates the converted values from the measurements you enter.
Enable unit conversion
Section titled “Enable unit conversion”The Automatic unit conversion toggle is off by default.
- Turn on Automatic unit conversion.
- Set Base unit to the unit used in your table.
- Check the read-only Converted unit that Icona selects.
The default base unit is cm.

What gets converted
Section titled “What gets converted”Icona converts only cells whose full value is numeric. It rounds converted values to two decimal places.
Keep a column unchanged
Section titled “Keep a column unchanged”To exclude a column from conversion, add an asterisk to the end of its header. For example, use Size* for a column that contains size labels.
What shoppers see
Section titled “What shoppers see”When conversion is enabled, shoppers can use a toggle in the size chart popup to switch between the base and converted units.
