# Publish or save as draft

Every chart has a status of **Published** or **Draft**. New charts are **Published** by default.

## Publishing a chart

Publishing adds the chart to the products and collections selected in **Applies to**. If the theme app block is enabled, the **Size chart** button then appears on those product pages.

## Switch to draft or delete

Changing a chart to **Draft**, or deleting it, removes it from every product where it appeared. A draft stays in your chart list so you can edit or publish it later.

## Removing a single product

You do not need to change the chart’s status to remove it from one product. Remove that product from **Applies to**. The chart remains published for its other assignments.
